Bio
Born into a military family, Caleb Atwood has called a lot of places "home". While he currently resides in Southern Illinois, he spent many of his formative years in Alan Jackson's hometown of Newnan, GA. He was raised on artists like Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley, Alan Jackson and George Strait. Some of Caleb's other influences include Waylon Jennings, Cody Jinks, Ward Davis, Charles Wesley Godwin, and Jamey Johnson. These influences shine through in his original music. He prides himself on his motto of "Real Music. Real Life. Real Country." and enjoy using his music to make a difference through both his lyrics and his shows.
Although he grew up singing in church, and works as a worship leader, he began his country music journey 7 years ago and has played all over the country (10 States and counting), mostly in the Midwest including prestigious venues such as The Backroom Lounge in Riverton, IL, The Castle Theater in Bloomington, IL, and Bucks Bar & Grill in Venice, NE with numerous local, regional, and national artists and bands.

"I've seen Caleb Atwood go from gourd green in this business to one of the very best young singer/songwriters in this area.
I'm super proud of what he's accomplished in the few years he's been hanging around the Backroom Lounge 'the songwriter's clubhouse'"

Reviews
"First time seeing Caleb play I gave him my card and said "if you need a bass player look me up". (Un)Fortunately he did and now years later we are still cutting the country cloth as raw as it can be. He's now the house band at the bar, drawing more and more attention to the original scene and bringing in new artists all the time! I'm never less than impressed with his growth and accomplishments. I am lucky not only to know him, but to support him and back him!

Owner of Billy Bob's Juke Joint & Caleb's Bass Player
"Wanna hear some great music? Listen to Caleb. I had him play at my bar many times, and everyone always enjoyed his songs.
Here's to a great friend and singer... may your life be filled with music. Best of Luck!"
